Gary Death & Kevin Cadwallender

Kevin Cadwallender’s books include Baz Poems, Baz Uber Alles, Public and Colouring In Guernica. He has recently launched his latest collection, Dancing With Vowels. Kevin is a popular figure on the Scottish spoken word scene and the Scottish editor for Red Squirrel Press. He co-runs VoXBoX, a monthly Edinburgh spoken word night, and is perhaps the only poet to have ever performed a love song live on stage in a Dalek voice.
They called him “somewhere between Henry Rollins and John Cleese” but we’re not so sure. Gary Death, ex-frontman of Earwig and the man behind the long-running spoken word nights Hardcore Humour and Pirahna Poetry, makes a rare Edinburgh appearance on the tail of his MCing at the Poetry&Words tent at Glastonbury. Everywhere Gary goes he creates a scene, in more ways than one. Expect high energy and words like bullets. Give up television.
