Hal Duncan & Richard Mosses

Richard Mosses graduated with a PhD in Physics from Strathclyde University in 1999 where he created unique materials. He works as a Business Development Manager for all of Scotland’s university-based physics research. Richard has told stories all his life, from early zombie films he scripted for his friends, to modern horror stories. He has just completed his third novel concerning a shamanic apocalypse precipitated by the return of the Ancient Egyptian gods.

Hal Duncan’s first novel, Vellum, won the Spectrum Award and was nominated for the Crawford, the British Fantasy Society Award and the World Fantasy Award. Along with its sequel, Ink, he has published a poetry collection, Sonnets For Orpheus. His latest novel Escape From Hell! is out on Monkeybrain Books. He collaborated with Scottish band Aereogramme on the song If You Love Me, You’d Destroy Me for the Ballads of the Book album from Chemikal Underground. Hal is currently attemptng to sucker fools into helping him score his “gay punk Orpheus” musical, Nowhere Town.
